Just a little information on The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and why the Box-Office take was so low (US$21 Million)

Paramount originally acquired the rights to Damien Lewis's book of the same name. It was then sold to Lionsgate, who, in turn, sold the international rights to Amazon Prime.

It only got a theatrical release in the US and a few minor territories. Everywhere else in the world got it it on Amazon Prime Video. It looks like it could be a 4K sleeping giant 😁

Paramount Pictures US are releasing on August 06th, a 20th Anniversary 4K Ultra HD & Blu-ray SteelBook of COLLATERAL (2004)

Available from Amazon US.

Michael Mann's stylish and compelling noir thriller Collateral celebrates 20 years with this limited edition 4K Ultra HD Steelbook. Tom Cruise gives a chilling performance as Vincent, a cool, calculating contract killer at the top of his game. Jamie Foxx received an Academy Award nomination for his portrayal of Max, a cabbie with big dreams and little to show for it. The film showcases the actors as Max transports Vincent on his next job – one night, five stops, five hits and a getaway. And after this fateful night, neither man will ever be the same.

Paramount Presents #46 is ELECTION (1999) 25th Anniversary  and will be available from Amazon US, with a release date of July 30th.

A limited-edition Paramount Presents release, approved by director Alexander Payne. Brilliantly adapted by Payne and Jim Taylor from the original novel by Tom Perrotta, Reese Witherspoon is unforgettable as Tracy Flick—the straight "A" go-getter determined to be president of Carver High's student body. She soon catches the attention of social studies teacher Jim McAllister (Matthew Broderick), who decides to derail Flick's obsessive overachieving by recruiting an opposition candidate (Chris Klein), putting in motion a disastrous series of events.

After joining the Facebook NZ DVD & Blu-rays group; I browsed the many movies advertised for sale by members. There are literally hundreds of DVD and Blu-ray for sale at extremely good prices (mostly used, watched once) but not many 4K. There were a few and I snagged a couple for $8 each. The films are Despicable Me 3 and Warcraft: The Beginning. I have an empty Canadian DM3 SteelBook and a nice Warcraft Steel, embossed on the front and back that I picked up while browsing the Riccarton JB Hi-Fi store some years ago. It wasn't released in NZ; It is a UK and Walmart Exclusive release, I think. Anyway, $8 each plus shipping, I am very happy with.

Madman Entertainment have STOP MAKING SENSE (1984) up for release on September 04th.

I can't decide from the listing if it's Blu-ray or 4K Ultra HD. It does mention that it has been restored in 4K, but the pricing makes me  a little bit dubious.

Blu-ray (4K?)  AU$39.95

DVD  AU$34.95

Have a look for yourselves and let me know what you think

Stop Making Sense

Personally I would bet on it being Blu-ray. Madman don't seem to really put out much on 4K, from what I can tell they only have around 10 titles. They don't even have a 4K area or filter on their shop.

It does explicitly list Blu-ray as the format, unless they made a mistake. But I hope I'm wrong and it is 4K because I want it so bad but don't want to pay those A24 shipping prices!

It's just that the first line of text says "newly restored in 4K" but I think that the price gives it away.

A member on another forum believes that it may be 4K. He actually messaged them a while ago and they said that a 4K was incoming. He also said that Madman were notorious for listing incorrect details on their site and the price was inline with some of their other 4K releases. so, it sounds promising. Guess we'll have to wait until the retailers get it on their websites.

Unfortunately I've seen quite a few Blu rays advertised as "remastered" or "newly restored" in 4K. I'd hedge my bets on it being a standard Blu-ray.
