But I have sound now! Which the ATI was never able to do.

I can fix the picture by changing the monitor driver to "digital flat panel 1920x1080" in device manager, but then the monitor pops up DVI in the OSD and I get no sound.

I was kinda hoping to be able to use the TV as a second audio output since its already going into my mixer and it would mean I could stop using the second USB sound device I have, freeing up a mixer input for something else like my mobile or whatever.

So I have read up a little on EDID overrides which I believe is all that changing the driver does, but I am wondering if anyone has ever done it and managed to get both audio and a decent 1:1 pixel mapping happening at the same time.

I am not certain that it is the nvidia card making everything look soft and blurry, but its the only change I have made that provoked this and I have had a sharp pic and audio on an intel chippsetted laptop in the past.
