I have uploaded some new tuning parameter files to Sourceforge for the remaining NZ terrestrial changes.

The files are in a subdirectory of the v3.2 directory on Sourceforge called New Zealand Terrestrial Changes. Download the file(s) you need into the DVBT subdirectory of your installation and they should appear as options in EPG Centre on the Tuning tab when you try and change your existing parameters.

Remember to click the Add button when changing the tuning parameters in EPG Centre. It's easy to forget to do this and end up trying to collect data with the old parameters.

Thanks for that, that help me heaps. I notice I only get "." instead of show names on TV3, Four and prime, have I done something wrong? I scan all 3 frequencies from Te Aroha and all other channels work fine.

That's probably what they are broadcasting. Let's see if anybody reports the same problem.

You should only need to scan one frequency by the way. AFAIK they will all be the same.

I've tried all 3 frequencies for Te Aroha with no luck, channels 3, four, prime, TV3+1 only have the time slots for each show with no names or descriptions. I've tried the guide on my freeview TV and the data is all there so im not sure why im getting nothing back.

I have check that the EPG channel listings are tied to the channel and I'm not sure what im doing wrong, does anyone have any ideas or process I can work throught to resolve this?

Use EPG Centre to create a transport stream dump. Use the default 60 secs.

Upload it somewhere and post the link and I'll take a look at the data.

No, a complete file is easier.

I'll pick it up first thing tomorrow if you post the link.

I'm having the same problems with the WMC guide not showing programs for the same channels described above. Funny thing is it does show programs a few days into the futre but just not the next few days. I'm on Te Aroha as well - problem seems to have started with changes in frequencies. (Noticed that the new frequencies are the old Dunedin ones).

Another thing I noticed is that after doing some W7 updates, the collector gives a "WMC Utility stopped working" error. If I undo the W7 updates, the collector does its thing with no errors.

Probably two seperate issues.

Let me know if you need further info/logs, but you'll need to dumb it down quite a bit for me regarding logs.

Thanks blue, great to know I'm not the only one. I've tried a different combination of options but not found any resolution. I'm hoping SJB has some answers.

I've processed that file and created an XMLTV file and it looks fine for all 3 of those channels. They all have proper descriptions.

Post the log for a run where it's wrong so I can see your parameters.

Here is the link to the log. The first 2-3 shows do appear if i watch TV ( I understand this is a different guide to the MHEG5 guide) but the full EPG guide is empty except for "."

Well this is odd because all the descriptions are OK in the mxf file as well.

Are the program times for say all the Prime programs correct when you see them in the MC guide?
