Running normal coax between aerial and tv with built in freeview. The old cable (which is not long enough now) worked fine but the new one gets absolutely no signal.

If i swap the cables back again it works fine but the new one doesn't and I've tried 2 new ones, neither work.

I am 100% sure I'm using the correct coax cable so does anyone know what might be the problem.

I don't know much about anything but I'll give it a go.

Was going to say, check the connections....
Good you've sorted it.
