Sony DVD players are not multizone however do a bit of googling and you should be able to fine a "fix" Wink

As Nety said most Sony players are not multiregioned but can be made to be.

Why do you want this player in particular, its nothing special, both the Panasonic and Pioneer for similar money on the same site would be equally as good if not better, and are multizoned.

Hi D4G,

A friend of mine (in Oz) has that model DVD and says that the Zone 4 sticker on the back is "just a sticker" .... he tried a Zone 1 (USA) disk and it played with no problems at all .... hasn't tried any other Zone disks though.

I suggest you borrow a Zone 1 disk from somewhere and give it a go.

If it fails, let us know as my friend also has a "hack" suggestion for this model.
