Hi Guys
something that I thought you might be interested in. Would be interested to hear your comments...
In the last couple of weeks my trusty BlackGold BGT-3595 card failed. The card itself had dual digital satellite DVB-S/S2, and dual digital terrestrial DVB-T, however in the end I was only using the DVB-T tuners with Freeview.
Looking for a quick solution I chose to replace the card with a Hauppauge 2210 dual DVB-T card. This appealed because of its price and avaliability.
I swapped the card out yesterday, and I watching live TV last night, including some HD shows, I swear that the quality of the image is better to what I was getting with the BlackGold. I'm not too sure how to describe the difference, and if the card hadn't failed I'd install it again to compare, but it seemed to be a more stable and less jerky image if that makes sense.
Has anybody else had any experience with this? I'm using the cards with Windows 7 x64 and MediaPortal 1.2.3
