So with JVC going bust theres some mega cool deals out there right now...

LT-Z32FX6 RRP $4000 can be had for $2100inc GST
LT-Z40SX6 RRP $6000 can be had for $3000inc GST

Just as a heads up; some top notch quality stuff for almost half price could be had
Keep your eyes out around the Auckland area specifically for the deals

JVC NZ has run out of money and JVC Japan isn't giving them any more money to keep them afloat
So they are unloading their stock really cheap onto a select few retailers

This is the third time it has happened to them; so they will regroup again and start over again.

All but a select few people were made redundant

I have an ongoing warranty issue with them. I hope they honour it but I guess I can always go back to the retailer (HN)

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

Frankei: All but a select few people were made redundant

In a Dilbert's world everyone, but the people actually responsible for a company going down, would be sent home. Is this the case?

From what I understand the people remaining are there to clear the stock, take care of rebates for retailers and honor the warranties

It's not that anyone in particular is responsible but I would imagine that with a line of product like JVC would be rather difficult to keep the company profitable in a small market like NZ

Good stuff, looks great but its rather expensive; with the lack of advertising and in the price range of Sony, you can understand that it would be difficult to compete with them in a small country.

Care to divulge which retailers are selling the goods?

They have a good range and very nice prices from when I last did a spendup. (cash and cary based store)

I like their "Famous Brand" advertising! very cute.
