i have just purchased a Denon amplifier, model #PMA 495, and can't get it to work.

it turns on and everything is plugged in fine, but the light is lit underneath the "MUTE / STAND BY"


it didn't come with a remote, so does anyone have any idea as to how i could get it off the stand by mode?

this is annoying ;(



any help would be great :)
