Hi guys,

Need a bit of guidance please as I’m trying to set up EPG Collector v4 and and not having much luck.  I’m sure I must just be overlooking a basic step.

The setup is a WMC7 machine connected to Satellite but receiving sky via set top box.  Only using WMC so all I want is the EPG in there.


Here’s what I did:

Set up WMC with sky through the set top box and made sure it was all working ok.

I’ve reinstalled net framework 4 to be sure is there.

Downloaded and installed the lated EPG Collector v4 from Sourceforge and installed it.

Open EPG Center, File, create collection parameters.

Select NZ Sky Tv – Open Tv Data, OK

Select the DVB-S Sat tuner on the “tuning” tab.

Make no other changes to this tab

Save in the default directory (Programdata-Geekzone-EPG Collector)

Open output tab and select “Import the data to WMC direct”

Give the inport a name

Select “Auto map EPG data to Channels”

And save again.

Output path is again set to default of C:\Programdata\Geekzone\EPG Collector\TVGuide.xml

Then I Run EPG Collector from the Run tab and tell it to use the current loaded configuration.


It does its thing, and runs through what look like all the channels and data.  Station count shows 197.  Runs through LoadMXF message to 100%, and then says it has completed with an exit code 0

I then open WMC and go to Guide, but it shows nothing.

 

What the heck am I missing here?
