I'm using a Hauppauge HVR2200 OEM Dual digital Tuner card with Windows Media Center on Windows 7 to record analogue TV from my apartment building and display on my TV and projector.
I have one problem though; my TV only accepts RCA connections so I added a NVIDIA GeForce 6200 PCI Video Card which has s-video (+ s-video to RCA adapter) to my Intel DH67BL motherboard.
The problem is that after Windows Update installs the GeForce 6200 driver:
- Flash Player wont load in Chome (and repeatedly crashes)
- General graphics performance is poor (desktop lags)
- Windows Media Center works ok
If I install the NVIDIA drivers manually:
- Flash Player still wont load in Chrome
- The NVIDIA control panel freezes
- General graphics performance is poor
- Windows Media Center works ok
If I uninstall the drivers by going to Device Manager > NVIDIA Geforce 6200 > Uninstall (Driver)
- Flash Player works in Chrome
- General graphics performance is good
- Windows Media Center does not work as no graphics card is detected
Anyone know what's going on?
Could it have something to do with the graphics card being a PCI card and having the main PCIe x16 slot empty (usual graphics card slot?). I've also tried disabling the on-board graphics in the BIOS.
I'm running;
- Intel DH67BL Motherboard
- Intel Core i7-2600 CPU
- 16GB RAM
- Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, clean install on 64GB Crucial SSD
