Anyone know much about Sony blink codes?
Our KDL32-EX500 has just gone belly up. Sometimes it turns on and works for a bit, then other times it will not power on at all. Every time it dies, the red standby LED starts flashing 7 times then pausing, then repeats the pattern.

Is it time to get a new one, or is this likely to be an easy fix?

That is a relatively new model (wouldn't be more than a couple of years old) so it should be covered by the CGA. You would probably need to call sony up regarding codes.

Definitely try the reset (using the up arrow on the remote while turning the TV on, using the power switch on the side) - otherwise take it in for service.
