Just got this TV, after reading several forum posts have finally got the picture how I like it.

But -

1) On white or light screens I can see a very faint yellow band running horizontally on the right hand side of the screen. It's enough to drive me nuts. Have tried various options and different inputs still no go.

2) Video delay, audio plays quicker than video. Have tried setting the delay on my pioneer to max 300ms yet it's still there.

Thought it was the HDMI so connected the laptop up through the amp and still same issue using headphone to RCA. faint yellow band is also there through VGA but harder to see.

To be honest what a headache of a TV. For something that's has some great reviews I'm not seeing it. Looks like a call to Noel Leeming :-/

Hi Lurch,

1. Elimination and isolation is the key. It seems you have tried various inputs, which pretty much means it is likely a panel fault. However to be sure try moving the panel by a few meters to iliminate interferance from other sources. Also test all modes and inputs, and make a list of what you have done.
Also remove all players and devices and check TV signal alone.

2. Processing lag can be awfully slow, make sure you are not converting the signal at all over the path. Sometimes you can set pass through mode on amps. Also check the result from plugging the player directly into the TV, the problem could be the amp causing the delay and so not the player or TV.

Me:"I'm not a robot!"

ET: "Maybe; you have some freewill, but you chose your path by arrangement"

Me "That sounds like a program with no freewill?"

ET: "We will catch up when you end this cycle"

Me: "Sounds like a 'KPI'!"

ET: "Did you read the terms and conditions?"

Me: .....

Can set the audio to bypass, will give that a go. Although I like the sound that couple of the modes give.

My old 47" LCD had no issues with lag so was surprised.

Some have suggested turning all the processing off that the TV does, however the picture starts to look "bad" worse than my 5 year old LCD LOL

Anyway will try a few more things :-)

Return it.
The LM7600's have been axed, maybe there was a reason?

Will be talking with Noel Leeming hopefully this week. Not 100% happy with it.

Does anyone know the consumer law around returns, is there a set time frame?

Will also have to sort out what to do with the packaging.

So after talking to both parties we have had LG get involved who have asked us to contact Tisco. However Tisco is always engaged.

Sent email back to LG and they insist I keep trying Tisco.

I'm surprised by this, LG should really be ringing Tisco and Tisco ringing us. How times have changed.

Do I recommend LG, at this point even if the TV was 100% no. Support is in Australia and they just bounce you to Tisco.

Plus LG keep asking you several times for information I've already provided when I registered.

Plus the Tisco number is always busy. Might try and find an email address.

My past experience with Tisco hasn't been positive but that was many years ago now.

Hang on, you don't contact Tisco, Noel Leeming's do this.
Don't let them fob you off to the importer / service agent. They sold it, they made the profit, they do the hard yards when something goes wrong.

+1
Tell the retailer (NL) to collect it and deal with it. It's their responsibility. Tell them you want it fixed in a reasonable time or replaced preferably with a different brand.
I thought TISCO was defunct. Looked at their website but it's pretty useless. Can't find any branches. I think they've long gone from Auckland just like Next.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Have my partner ringing them tomorrow as I'll be stuck at work. Maybe she'll have more luck.

Happy with the picture quality it's just he yellow band we can see on light screens which is just on the right.

Hopefully we can swap it with another TV, have looked around an LG is the only option for a 55" passive 3d tv :-/
