with frodo out and my onboard video not supporting dts-hd, plus not being able to play bluray ISO i'm in the market for a new video card.
i'm after something sub $250 that has HDMI and supports dts-hd.

sidefx: Yes. I'd probably look at something like a passive HD6450. I think it should do everything you need though you might want to confirm xbmc compatibility for all the audioengine stuff:
