Hi there,

I'm looking to install a TV primarily as a computer display monitor in a meeting room.  I want to wall mount and extend most connections down to a nearby wall plate.

What I'd like to know is, what are people using in this type of situation?

ie are there any female to female hdmi wall plates that allow you to use a standard pre-terminated hdmi lead to plug into the back of the wall plate, which then presents a standard female hdmi socket for you to connect another lead into etc.  I'm looking to do this as I'm not always sure how long a lead we will be needing from the wall to whichever device is being used.

I'll be bringing down 1x AV input, so 3x RCAs, 1x VGA dsub input and 1or 2x hdmi etc, maybe 1x s video if it's there etc.  Ideally I want to present these on a wall plate, which can either be standard size or I can custom make something if necessary, depending on what connection options we go with.

Ideas on anything you've used or seen for this type of duty appreciated.  Thanks.

Hi, yes you can get a female to female HDMI keystone adaptor that will fit in a Krone keystone clip for a PDL plate, jaycar have them.

http://www.jaycar.co.nz/productView.asp?ID=PS0771&keywords=hdmi+keystone&form=KEYWORD

As you can see from that link you can get all manner of bits, the Krone clips are available at electrical wholesalers like Corys.
