Folks,

I'd like to recommend the Timeleak HD75A for capturing HD video from (so far for me) any device!
(see http://timeleak.com.cn/en/article/view.php?ps_db=prod&pnid=2&ps_aid=11)
This is a low profile PCI card that comes with both standard and low profile brackets.  My card was supplied by Jack Ren who distributes these directly from Beijing at very good prices (mine was US$110, including EMS shipping), for a retail boxed unit. His contact e-mail is: timeleak@sina.com. He accepts Paypal and has been very quick and reliable.  Jack also sells these cards on ebay.com under the name timel2008, currently at US$110 plus US$20 shipping.  I found that the simple capture software that is supplied with the card works surprisingly well, recording via the card's hdmi socket.

Timeleak are now marketing a newer card HD100c which has a higher specification in some respects but with certain limitations!  Who knows, maybe this means that at some point they will discontinue the HD75A unit.

Cheers

Ron

I don't think it is spam. It reads like a user who is sharing his experience with a good product.

Can you record from any HDMI source or does the card comply with HDCP restricting recording from say Bluray to low resolution? Just curious.
