Hi
Well it seems that I don't really understand how sound systems work.

So lets try again.

This is what I have....

My PC will have this sound card....ASUS Xonar DGX

I also have two of these in ceiling two way speakers...http://www.jaaudio.co.nz/products.php?sec=anytime4a4c300e11967&cat=anytime4a4c30cc1c11e&id=csv761686162

Now the way I understand it is that I need an amplifier between my sound card and the speakers...is this correct?

If it is the can anyone recommend a cheap amp that will do what I need?

I'm not after stunning quality sound...just something to listen to the odd song while doing the my paper work in the office.

Thanks
Richard

You'll need an amplifier, and you'll need to know what plugs you have coming out of your sound card, to plug into the amplifier.
Pretty simple.

Oh and in regards to a cheap amp, who knows what you'll need. The speakers aren't up to much, so almost any amp that can run a set of 8ohm speakers happily will be fine.
