Is there a list of all Content sources that you can stream from (both Audio and Video) and if I am building a HTPC box...what are the pre-reqs for this accessing and possibly recording this source. Example what clients are available for accessing the course. So far my preference is to use PLEX...but I don't know of all the sources out there and what they deliver and makes them special.

Hopefully I can build a spreadsheet of them all....and by knowing what you need from a hardware and software perspective I can work out the sources I want...and the software and hardware that the HTPC will need.
