Register with unblock-us.com
Add the supplied DNS settings to your router, or the device you using to watch Netflix.

Unless you're with Telstraclear in which case you better use a VPN instead because of their transparent proxy. I use WiTopia and get pretty good speeds to the USA.

Or unotelly. You only have to change the DNS settings on the viewing computer, not the router.

It seems very reliable. Now and again when you sign into Netflix it says "oops, Netflix hasn't arrived in this part of the world yet!"

Then you go to the unotelly bookmark and click on "update my ip address". Takes all of 20 seconds.

Unotelly + Netflix = Byebye Sky + $$$ saved = way more and better content.

Transparent Proxy is also on with Slingshot, but you can have it turned off I think. Or you could be lucky like me and your flatmate is too damn slack to find out his account details so he can turn of cache, or you know make a phone call...../rage.

Also free you can try http://hola.org.

I use it on my HTPC to access Hulu and Netflix.

I use Witopia to access my Amazon Instant Video account.

Alternatively you can install the "Media Hint" browser addon for firefox or chrome, job done, costs nothing and zero configuration. Once installed just browse to netflix/hulu etc and use as normal.
