hi,
i'm currently building a new place for the family and me,and i'm looking for advise on how to do the following.

please assume i know nothing about this stuff when replying.

i will have a lcd tv,xbox 360,windows computer,ipod.freeview box

i want to be able to listen to music from the computer/ipod or the radio in the lounge,dining room and outdoors

i want to wantch tv/dvd's in the lounge, i'll probably cable for 7.1

i will have tv outlets to a few other areas which may or may not get used in the future.

i'd like the kids to be able to watch a dvd in the lounge whilst the radio is on in the kitchen dining.

i'm looking for an entry level set of equipment with an entry level budget.
i can add conduits that will allow for upgrades later but mwhat to where?

non of the above has been done as i'm still putting down the slab.i'm open to other suggestions if any of the above seems odd.

i've looked around the internet and i'm aware there are heaps of options but without the knowledge to know what you need i just get more confused.
