anyone else trying to record the 6 Nations games find their recording of Italy v Ireland starting an hour late? I suppose I should be glad anything recorded at all, they again this week had the wrong listing for the game, they called it Italy v France until the day of the game, just as they called Italy v Wales the previous week Italy v France! In the past when I've chosen to record something that's mis-titled, when Sky have corrected it MySky has just dropped it from my list.

Also discovered this week that my Series Link for The Daily Show stopped of it's own accord... again.

no problems here OD - those matches all recorded fine for me.....I'd have Sjy have a look at your box as you seem to be having a fair few problems...

The Daily show loses Series Link occasionally with me too though - I just check it once in a while....

grrrr MySky failed to record Llanelli v Munster too. In fact it had lost all of my chosen recordings for this week, all the Heineken Cup games and the couple of Magners League games I picked out too. Sky called, technician's coming Tuesday. I want a new box, this is just unacceptably crap. To make matters worse the Rugby Channel will not it appears be repeating the Llanelli v Munster game, meanwhile they're repeating all the other quarter finals at least once this week.

It's like someone out there in Murdochland is doing it to annoy me!

I was on hols so I didnt use my box to record it (had to pay a bar in Whangarei to get the Rugby Channel put on though). Did you book them early and fall foul of the "name change" problem?

Congrats though - you were the better team. I can send you a video of the semi :))

it finally got replayed over the weekend so I finally got to see it...

Looks like Munster got some measure of revenge at the weekend though. Looks like it could've been to do with the name change thing but it's getting worse and worse as Sky's schedules get sloppier and sloppier. I tried to set it to record a Magners League game the week after and even though they didn't appear to change the name it still dropped the recording from my planner 4 times! It's really crap software/database programming. Tivo never had a problem with names of programmes changing because the name was only a database element. Every programme had a unique ID code (hidden from the user) which didn't change regardless of how many times the programme name changed. I've said it before many times but Sky+/MySky is atrocious software with extremely limited functionality given the high spec of the hardware.
