Hi all,

We are in the process of moving our htpc's accross to windows 8 and need advice on a replacement card for our bgt 3595. The win 7 drivers are having intermittent blue screen issues in win 8 and Black Gold have no plans to provide win 8 compatible drivers.

What we need is a card that has 2x dvbt and 2x dvbs2 tuners that can be used simultaneously.

I am using Hauppuage HVR 3000 still for dvb-s  and the HVR-2200 for DVB-T with Windows 8 on my AMD Trinity setup.  No problems working very well

HTPC Intel Pentium G3258 cpu, Gigabyte H97n-wifi motherboard, , 8GB DDR3 ram, onboard  graphics. Hauppuage HVR 5500 tuner,  Silverstone LC16M case, Windows 10 pro 64 bit using Nextpvr and Kodi

OK sweet, How have you had any issues with the hvr2200 and resuming from sleep. We originally had one of these before the Black Gold and mediaportal was missing recordings.

I use TBS DVB-S/S2 cards and they're fine, I can't imagine their DVB-T/T2 cards being any worse... Have a look at www.tbsdtv.com

I have an HVR-2200 and Windows 8. I used it with Windows Media Center and now use NextPVR, never had any problems with missing recordings with either programme, whether waking from sleep or hibernation or already awake.

Am having a wee dabble with Mediaportal at the moment. Have recorded a couple of things, but not from sleep though I don't think.

I'm using a TeVii S480 without issue, but I bought it for its Linux support so no idea what its like under Windows but I would imagine it's solid.
