Don't you just hate it when TVNZ have a program time wrong in their EPG and you record the wrong program because of it? On Monday 26 August, the TV1 EPG showed the Louis Vuitton final race scheduled to begin broadcasting at 9am. Only problem was the broadcast actually started at 8am, the race at 8:10am and it was over before the PVR started recording. Choice frequently change the program schedule around without updating the EPG but I expect better from TVNZ.
I thought the one at 9 was for the second race of the day if it was needed. I'm pretty sure I read that on the epg. I think also it was the same for all the other race days and the yachting was just shown during breakfast. Then if there was a second race they had a separate listing on the epg as it started at 9 after breakfast had finished.
Thanks for the replies. You are correct Jarrod. I set up a series link record a couple of weeks ago. I've checked back and the Saturday and Sunday EPG was correct but in their wisdom TVNZ decided not to include the 8am races in the EPG. During the week prior to the final race I had been watching live and turned on the TV around 8am without looking at the EPG. Last Monday, I checked the EPG at around 7am and saw that Breakfast was scheduled through until 9am, then America's Cup. I incorrectly assumed that the race had been delayed for an hour and TVNZ had updated the EPG accordingly. Now that I see what has happened, I think it is even worse than I thought. No entry at all for the 8am races during the entire series.
