Hello

Initially i upgraded from 1.3 - > 1.5 and had the issue where i could not stop playback of video's. Did a fresh install, restored backups, which did not help either.
I primarily used Movingpictures/MP TV Series but tried default video plugin which didn't work either.

Tried disabling Dynamic refresh rate
Tried Win7 builtin codecs.

anyone going through the same here?

Can you pause etc? If so I'd say its a binding wrong. What sort of remote do you use? Ive found my MS remote setup needs to be unplugged occasionally for some strange reason but other than that been running 1.5 since it first got its pre-release and its worked well for me.

I would check that the remote is defined as an MCE remote (if thats what you are using). I have lost this setting before when upgrading and it stops buttons like pause/play etc working. Make sure the checkbox 'Use microsoft MCE remote or keyboard' is ticked!

Start MP in debug mode (report a fault to team mediaportal). This will disable all 3rd party plugins. If still having problems, then post logs to our forum.
