I programmed my Strong 4620 receiver into 12456 22500 h, on the 4th of May picked up 3 and 4 but when changing to these channels, it would take 1 to 60 seconds before (Bad or no Signal) warning sign would disappear and 3 and 4 were fine, a day later I can't get any signal, any suggestion's, 1 and 2 have all ways been fine.

maybe your dish/lnb can't do the h-pol?  tv1, tv2 and maori are available on both v-pol and h-pol at the moment - maybe you're seeing the v-pol channels

Sounds like you may have a cross pol issue, suggest you check LNB is nulled correctly

To do it properly you need a spectrum analyser,it's possible you could try it without, you would have to rotate the LNB slowly while someone was watching the STB.Max signal on H 18v min on V 13v,and remember the position

Thanks for the tips everyone. I haven't tried the nulling yet and when a mate who installs Sky etc, said he had checked that a couple of months ago. We did try a Topfeild box, which worked fine. We tried the Strong again and we couldn't get anthing and after thinking I would have to buy another box I thought I'll try one more time, FREAKY, I can now receive all channels on horizontal, 3 and C4 still play up a bit but its hanging in there, do you think the Strong box is on its way out??
