Hi

I am planning on purchasing a Samsung UA55F6400 TV.
Looking at sound options and come done to the Samsung F551 Soundbar or the F5550 5:1 Home theatre/blueray player.

I really just want to enhance the sound from the TV and stream other music to it.  Not that concerned about full surround sound nor a blueray player.. but would happily have them...

Did trial the F551 Soundbar in the shop and it was very impressive.

I am wall mounting the TV and would need to do likewise with the Soundbar... which presents the greatest issue as I would need to get a powerpoint behind the soundbar and somehow try and hide the transformer thing as well.    But should be able to connect wirelessly to the soundbar and teh subwoofer is wireless as well.
The F5550, despite require wires under the carpet etc to the speakers is easier to setup withe a single HSMI cable back from the TV set.

Just wondered if anyone had any feedback on either of these two Samsung setups.

- thanks

I've just purchased the Samsung HW-F450 sound bar today for my UA55F6400. Wasn't looking for anything too expensive at was fairly impressed by the sound for such a compact unit. I was sold on the fact that it can all connect wirelessly and the difference in sound is night and day, its like cotton wool has been taken out of my ears!
