I've recently purchased a Panasonic DMR-BWT835 and have most of the options setup now.
I can watch TV or recordings from any of our devices (gen1 and gen2 Kindle Fire's, Android phones, iPod Touch etc).

What I'd like to be able to do is watch recordings from the unit on my iMac (desktop or macbook air).
I know the Panasonic can act as a DLNA server, so I tried finding an appropriate client for the Mac/OSX.

Two questions:
(1) From a technical perspective, is it possible to have an app on my Mac/OSX that will see the Panasonic unit and list all the recordings?

(2) If it is possible, what would people suggest?

I've used Twonky with Panasonic recorders previously... it let me copy files directly onto my Mac too!
However, I can no longer get HD shows to work due to digital flags effectively being placed on the broadcast shows, stopping me from doing this. I no longer have a Panasonic recorder though, so it's not something I'm 100% with anymore.

I'm still using Twonky and able to watch and transfer recordings from my Panasonic BWT720 Ok on/to my Desktop PC. Haven't had any HD shows flagged as copy protected since last April both on the 720 and my earlier BW880. Before that the HD shows wouldn't copy or play on the PC.

So I've tried Twonky Manager (which includes the server). It "sees" the DMR-BWT835 (lists it as a server), but when I select it, I get nothing listed.

Any thoughts?

I use Twonky 7 and had similar problems when I started. Could see the Panny but not do anything. It takes quite sometime for Twonky to scan all folders. Once scanned they should all show up when you select Video then select Album under My Library. Make sure eveything is setup for sharing. I'm not sure exactly what I did but after playing around in the dark and a bit out of my depth it suddenly started working. It's doesn't seem very user friendly and wasn't easy to sort out the setup.

I can see the DLNA server (and stream live TV from) that's on our Panasonic TV with VLC. I see it listed under Local Network -> Universal Plug'n'Play.
