planning a new house build and want to install an IR blaster so i can put my AVR and HTPC out of the lounge. whats a good bang for buck system that will hopefully have a stealth receiver tha doesnt stick out like the proverbial.
system will be capturing commands from my logitec remote and sending to the onkyo AVR and HTPC which currently has a HP IR receiver.

thanks for that. the first one looks like what i need, with the receiver in a small mech plate under the TV.
may go with IP/ir further down the track when theres more options available. my system works great with the logitec 785 remote at the moment

If things work well with your Logitech, have you thought about the Harmony Ultimate/Smart Control?

The remote is RF to a hub which then fires out IR (from the hub plus optional IR blasters if needed) to your devices. I have mine in a cabinet under the TV, but it would work equally well in a cupboard. You can also control the hub with a smartphone app (communicates via Wifi).

I'm really happy with it. I also had the 785 previously.
