anyone here have had any experience with the brand audiolab?

i'm looking at there mono block power amp or should i stick with more of a known brand ie Rotel, Marantz..etc

All good brands, the Rotel would be my pick of the pack...
I wasn't aware that Marantz did monoblock in the price category of Rotel and Audiolab though?

Correct no monoblock in that category.

I would be looking at their 2 channel amps, rotel rb-1582 and the marantz mm7025 vs the audiolab 8200mb

i concur.

just avoid the class d rotels - they are rubbish compared to their class ab amplifiers, of which the rb1582 is one.
