Interesting. You signed up to post this. Are you in any way affiliated with these people?

What makes it different/better than an Intel NUC? (WHich are available now in a wide range of specs)

Cheers - N

I haven't come across that particular one, but I have seen other fanless cases where the whole thing is effectively a big heat sink. Quite cool, TBH though I'm perfectly happy with my current case and fans. They are quiet enough that I don't notice them at all even with TV\HT off, and of course they're a complete non-issue when actually watching or listening to something.

expensive IMO $499USD is their special price, normal is $599USD so convert to NZD + 15% for GST.

for what it is, a apple mac mini is better and thats also too expensive for a HTPC.

i think you're crazy if you buy this.

Dolsen - I'm not computer savvy enough for this, but it looks like they offer a "hacker special" that ships in June and you get another box after they have the final one ready.
Talkiet - I'm not affiliated with them.  I wasn't finding the answers I was looking for online so decided to talk to people that know what they are dealing with.  I've done surface research but I don't have the in depth understanding you all seem to.
