I heard the other day that Toshiba will be releasing a dual hd/blue ray dvd player before years end,so much for the hd/blue ray war !

Yeah, I saw that mentioned too, but it's some horrendous price -- much more than just BluRay or HD-DVD.

No worries, just wait a while and the price will come down, like any electronic device...
