Hi All,

My son’s birthday is coming up in July and we’re thinking of screening a copy of the Lego movie for him and his mates. My current el-cheapo projector is hopeless unless its pitch black, so I’m going to have to hire one.

It’ll be during daytime hours in a well-lit garage so needs to be pretty bright obviously. We’ll be using a 100inch screen with the kids sitting 3-5metres back, video will run through a laptop via HDMI, with anything up to Blu-ray quality (depending on what’s available by then).

Any suggestions on model or hire outlets in Auckland? And any particular specs I should carefully consider?

One place so far has recommended the Panasonic PT-F300EA but I see it lists XGA as its native res and it doesn’t support HDMI. Any thoughts on this model?

Thanks All,
Mat
