just installed an avermedia twinstar into the PC (DVBT) and need to setup the EPG.

so ias i understand it i just download and instal EPG collector, install the fix patches and then follow the setup in the readme file?

any tips tricks to look out for? will be setting it up for kopukairua in tauranga....

You might want to make sure to check the box to disabled the MCE inline guide. But that's pretty much it...

I have W8 MCE and just use its EPG, gets all the channels. Using it with a Hauppauge usb stick

If you are using EPG Collector with DVB-S then you should get the full EPG.

so i'll get 7 days with EPG collector and MCE?  Will that do series record or will it have to manually added each week? trying to keep it simple for my 65+yo mum.
