Is anyones Samsung Smarthub having trouble connecting to the internet and therefore apps?  Internet is fine on all other devices except for this damn TV.  Currently been out of action since Monday!

Mine seen fine on my VF adsl... Usual (crappy) speed I get for everything at the end of my 4.7km cable... But downloaded an app just to check and no worries?

I'm on a 40" 5500 series... What hardware and ISP are you on?

Can you stream something across your home network to the TV? If not, then perhaps you are not connected properly.

If you have no problem streaming content across your home network to the TV, and all other devices have access to the internet, then I'd try an OS update for the TV.

Of course, you'll have to do this by first downloading the latest OS from the Samsung support website via a PC, then extract the file to a clean USB stick, then you can do a TV OS update via USB.

Yup all works fine, can browse the server containing all my stuff, and the TV can be seen on the network and in the router network section... It is just that the tv cannot access the internet.  Now I know that Samsung use central servers for smart hub so if they're down or cannot be reached then the TV won't connect to anything but on the internal network... I've posted something in the Snap section as well just to see as that is all I can think of now if smart hub works for others.

Benoire I have smart hub on my Samsung BD player.  We experience occasional problems with internet access.  They self-resolve eventually.

Have you added a lot of apps?  I've had less trouble with ours since I removed all optional apps except TVNZ OD.  The BD player memory is >95% full just with the non-optional apps + TVNZ OD installed.
