Hi all!

I have taken the advice posted up about what EGP import software I should use for my HTPC and I have deleted Big Screen EPG and now I am trying to install EPG collector. I am a newbie so sorry if this has been covered before. How do I actually install the program. It is a zip file and I am unsure how to execute the installer.(whats a good free unzip) I think I should be ok with the set up etc. Thank you in advance!!!
 Regards Alastair

You should download the msi (same place on Sourceforge as the zip) and run it. Easier for you than the zip.

when you go to the download link,
http://sourceforge.net/projects/epgcollector/files/V4.1/

select the lower of the two install files. you want the instal......msi file.

save that one and then run it.it will install the program.

once thats in , you need to download and unzip the newest fixpack. just unzip it overtop of the existing files.

Great and done!! Thank you so much. I think I am better suited to hardware than software!! I have a HTPC that is 99.9% awesome, all I need now is a complete EPG to go. I will spend the next few wee hours having a play. Thanks a again for the help. What a great forum!!
