You could try taking off the facebook prefix. (I don't use this so I can't answer the question sorry)

Lets just cut the bs out. I don't know how the guide update works and it's down. I just wanted to report this.

I've started getting an "unable to establish ssl connection" error message when downloading the guide file from dropbox using wget.
To get around this you can add the following at the start of the line:
wget --no-check-certificate
