I tried to get EPG for my Laptop through a USB DVB-T reciever (Thumb drive).
Unfortuately for most DVB-T channels, EPGCollector only grts current and next program.
The location is North-Italy, driver for the DVB-T reciever works and the frequencies I used are correct.

This is the parameter file
http://www.4shared.com/file/lTBSkPujce/EPG_collector_Italy_177MHz_EIT.html

and that's the result
http://www.4shared.com/document/0l9XHbgpce/tvguide_177MHz_EIT.html

I also tryed to scan the same frequencies with MHEG5 collection type but same result again.

I also read this pot from another forum
http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/for-italy-a-question-about-dvb-t-epg.46110/

and it seems at that time (6 years ago) the broadcasters only transmits EPG for current and next program.

Have you any ideas / attempts before giving up?

Thank you, regards

Laptop: Acer Aspire V3-571G. OS: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. Reciever: Terratec Cinergy DVB-T Stick

Use EPG Centre to create a transport stream dump (30 seconds will be enough) and upload it somewhere, preferably OneDrive.

Post the link and I'll take a look at your data.

I've had a look at the data and unfortunately most of the channels only broadcast now/next except for some of the radio stations that broadcast 2 days worth.

There is no other sort of EPG apart from EIT on that transponder.

Maybe try another transponder?

I tried on other transponder (you mean frequencies right?) and on some of them (i.e. 682MHz) I get programms for the next 2 days.

Here the .xml result

and here a 30 seconds dump

I think the only way to get EPG for more days is to use WebEPG, as suggested by Cybertex in the forum discussion of my previous post.

Thank you very much for your help SJB
