I Dont think there is a media player that will do this.

I use powerDVD on my HTPC just for 3D - although only have a small number of Blu-ray 3D iso, the rest of my collection has been remuxed to MKV with just the main movie and DTS-HD soundtrack to save space and I use mediaportal for playback.

I'm an HTPC fan and have had a good run for many years using PowerDVD11 for my 2D and 3D Blu-ray ISO's

My HTPC is my Home Theater backbone with DVBViewer for Freeview and Recording. It is also useful for browsing and streaming so I find it a very versatile tool compared to dedicated players. I do also use PS3 and PS4 consoles as gaming and streaming players.

Sounds like it might have to be an HTPC, whats the likely hood of building one for $300?

If you are very lucky, you might find something second hand for sale around that price but you need to make sure it can handle Blu-ray and 3D.

To give you some idea, my latest motherboard, CPU and Ram combo for a nice stable Blu-ray 3D platform are:

CPU: Intel Core i3-2100, $195.00
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H67MA-D2H-B3, $181.00
Corsair Ram: CMV4GX3M2A1333C9, $85.00

(These are a couple of years old prices so you may find much better deals)

Remember that this does not include a Case, Power Supply, Blu-ray Drive, Hard Drive(s), Windows OS, Blu-ray Software etc which stacks up the cost depending on how nice you want it to look in your lounge or Theater.

The type of motherboard listed above has on-board HDMI video so you do not need a separate graphics card and a simple i3-2100 CPU has all the power you need for Blu-ray 3D

The PC 'guts' listed above currently reside in an Antec Fusion V2 Case with a Lite-On DH-401S Blu-ray drive, Several large TB drives, HVR-2200 TV Tuner (for Freeview) on a Win 7 OS with PowerDVD11 as the BR Player. AnyDVD software is also a useful addition.

It all works nice and smoothly for me.

Maybe if you can pick one up on trade me or look for second hand parts there.
