Parents are currently in the process of building a new house. Keen to get Sky into the Lounge, Living and a Bedroom without multi room.

My plan is to get something like this:  http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-1080P-LKV373IR-HDMI-Extender-with-IR-by-LAN-Transmitter-Receiver-1x-Transmitter-2x-Receiver-P0015251/1983462362.html

a
nd another receiver unit, put the MySky box in the comms cupboard and do it that way. TV points in the lounge have 3xCAT6 and 3xRG6, Bedroom TVs have 1xCAT6 and 1x RG6.

Any one got any better ideas how to do it? Would love to do a Freeview modulator, but they are around the $1000 mark so a bit over what I'd like to spend.

only problem you will run into is if you have smart tv's in those bedrooms etc you wont have any free rj-45 points for them by using the HDMI extender

may not be an issue though
