Hi Everyone,

I have a Vista Ultimate Media Center and have been experimenting with freeview.  Scanning for channels and anything involving the tuners is quite unstable.  I have latest Hauppauge Vista MCE drivers installed and applied the DVBS_as_DVBT reg edit.  I can get everything working including EPG but only after multiple attempts at scanning etc.

Sometimes when I start live tv the vista blue working circle just goes round and round and thats it! After a few shut downs and wait for the machine to stop working (loading up) I will work again...

Has anyone got 2 Nova S Plus cards working reliably in Media Center?

Anyone experience with this would be helpful.

Thanks

I have my 2xNova-S DVBS cards working fine in MCE2005, but I was having problems with blocky and staggering video in Vista so i'm still using MCE 2005 90% of the time.  I believe all the problems I was having in Vista were due to the nVidia drivers and that the last driver update I put down seemed to make everything a lot better - i just havent had time to go back to vista to give it a good workout.

I'd recommend looking at your graphics card and getting the latest drivers (possibly beta drivers) and see if you find any improvement.
