Firstly, I am pretty sure this is the correct place for this topic, rather than the Freeview forum, based on how I have isolated the problem.

Been having ongoing issues with the TV reception on my Sony TV. Have finally isolated it to being my Sony AV receiver. The 2 components are connected by HDMI for video and Optical for audio. When the receiver is on, the Mediaworks channels show "No Signal" errors, but as soon as I turn off the receiver they start working again with no issues.

I have disconnected all the other components of my system, and disabled the Bluetooth and WiFi, seperated the aerial cable from my speaker leads, disconnected the AMP and the optical cable but the problem still persists.

Has anyone come across this problem before, or have any tips for resolving it? Any help would be much appreciated.

Chris

Most likely you have a very marginal signal level and there is enou interference from the receiver to degrade the signal to a non working level
