Hi,

I want to laptop to my sharp aquous LC-42XD1EA lcd tv.  I bought a 15 pin cable, but nothing appears on my tv screen.  I've tried to find a guide on how to set it up, but have been unable to do so.  Please help!!

Problem with the Sharp's is you need to have the resolution correctly set up otherwise it doesn't show up at all. You need to set the laptop resolution to much the TV's native resolution before you switch to using the TV. I've got a Sharp and a Samsung, while the Aquos is good, the Samsung is all over it with the d-sub usability.
