I had my Laptop hooked up to my Sony 32" LCD it was working fantastic never had a problem, untill yesterday.

I plugged in the multi pin plug and went to adjust the monitor on my nvidia settings and it just came up on my Tv , Unsupported Signal adjust Pc input."

Strange thing is I haven't adjusted anything that would stop it from working.

What i did notice is that one of the tiny little pins on the multi cord is missing, so I have another lying around I tested that and it still didn't work, As well as trying a S-Video cable and still no luck,

Any body have any idea's would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

The resolution set in your laptops Nvidea setting is too high for your tv, ie: 1920x1080 instead of 1024x768

Also as a possibility check your monitor refresh rate isn't set too high, LCD's tend to like 60 Hz

I have been trying every possilbe thing on my computer.

I'm getting so frustrated, I just don't understand why all of a sudden it stopped working when it was working fine the night before.

Have your video drivers updated?

Have you installed any software since it was working last?

Have you tried rolling back to your laptop to the last known time it worked fine?
