Hi all,
I have noticed tonight that my EPG data only runs through to next Sun, making only 6 days of EPG data. I have a batch file in Task Scheduler to update EPG data each night. There has never been an issue with my 7 day guide in WMC with EPG collector, it has always worked well. I cleared the fields in WMC and re-ran the collection manually several times and still only have 6 days worth. All data finishing at 12.00 midnight sunday. Collection runs ands exits ok. Any ideas? Is anyone else having issues. I am in the Waikato.

is anybody able to help? My epg listings all stop at 12.00am Monday. I have looked at the output file and all data stops at the same time? Is anyone else having this issue?

I notice someone else has reported problems with the EPG when using an STB so it looks like it may be down to the broadcasters.

If you have the time use EPG Centre to do a transport stream dump, upload it somewhere, post the link and I'll check if there's anything strange in the data.

Thank you for your reply, sorry for the stupid question but where can I post the dump? Would you suggest an email as an attachment? My TV has a full 7 days, but im guessing EPG collector may use a different format. I really hope the broadcasters have not discontinued the service as we may not have too many options for capturing the EPG data.

I tend to use Microsofts OneDrive.

The data will come from the same place for your TV and EPGC. There is also another thread running at the moment where a TV has some EPG problems so it may be a broadcaster issue.

Hopefully that's what you are after. I used uploaded as onedrive stalled at 6%.

I checked my TV and it has data till the 14 Jan, Media Center is stuck on 11th Jan.

I Changed my collection settings in EPGC to Hamilton and got some channels through to the 15th but not 1234 and the plus channels. Change back to Te Aroha and only up to the 12th for all channels.Is there any alternative EPG collection data available with DVB-T using EPGC if this is a permanent issue? I have a feeling there may be no more EPG for some of us from Sun.

I tried collecting from all the frequencies used at Te Aroha which got the quide back to 7 days. Wondering if its a glitch or they have changed the transport being used.

That's great news Hunnysfeeder, can you tell me a bit more on how you did that? Also check the other thread on this forum. There was a reply from media works and there was a transmission issue. Cheers

I processed the file Browned uploaded and it had data from the 4th to the 12th.

KiwiBro - when you tried Hamilton did you have the option set on the output tab that says 'Create data for channels with the same name if data not present'? You should set that for NZ terrestrial into WMC.

Just ran the collection again and now have data up to the 16th Jan. Think the issues may have been resolved.

Hi Kiwibro,

What I changed was I added 2 extra sources for the other 2 frequencies used at Tearoha. I do wonder if i was experimenting just after it was fixed.

Yeah my epg is back to a full 7 days now. Must of been a glitch. I really didn't like the thought of manually setting all my series recordings! HTPC's are great when they are going!

You should only need to collect from a single frequency.

Thanks SJB. My guide is updated to Thursday night but did not update last night to show next Friday. I suspect maybe the broadcaster is only sending the data 2 or 3 days or so. Will keep an eye on it.
