I have a Sonos wireless speaker and would like to use it in a holiday house with music from my mobile and the house does not have internet. Can I just use a wireless router as the bridge? If so would I have to do any prior setup of the router at home with my pc? Thanks.

Is it a Play 5? If it is, you could connect directly from your phones headphone port, using a 3.5mm cable.

Yes, you can use a wireless router. Are you intending to use the same router you have at home, or use a different one? If the network configuration is different you'll need to reset the system, but otherwise it's an easy transfer.
