Anyone have one of these models, it the one with the satellite and terrestrial tuners. Cant figure out how to record a program from the guide, there is no on screen record button, no record button on the Magic remote and the record button on the ordinary remote jut records the current program :-(
Tried ringing LG help, got nowhere.

REC Starts to record and displays record menu. (Only Time Machine supported model)

do you have the above model?

what size is your tv?

are you sure you can record from it?

As far as I can tell it's not set up to work with Freeview EPG, and LG are not particularly interested in fixing it.

It has Time Machine and you can enter in channel, date and start and stop times to record but that is pretty archaic.
It displays the Freeview epg, there is just no option to record.

Thanks for the link. On my 1 month old TV its called Time Machine, not Time Machine 2 and it does not have the features mentioned in that guide so I guess NZ sets do not have that functionality.
