I hope that someone can help me, please :)

I have a DVD that I want to watch - using PowerDVD. I get the sound, fine, but no video...any idea why this might be or how I can fix it?

Do you have a dual screen setup? If so, it's possible that your video is setup to play all mpeg to your second screen.

Not sure....but I just unchecked something and all of a sudden it works, problemo solved :) Thank you for your reply though.
