just bought a 19 inch Veon led tv...all ok, no probs with product..my question is how do I hook this little guy to my Onkyo receiver? Read the instructions and still none the wiser....would appreciate any help chaps.

What audio output plugs does it have?
Optical?
RCA plugs?
Headphone socket?

It will most likely have a digital coax output... is this correct?
TV's normally have optical digital outputs, but in order to save $0.01 at the time of manufacture, Veon / Konka / DSE etc all cut out the optical port.
It 'shouldn't' be an issue, but as many HTIB / soundbars don't have a coax input, it quickly becomes a pain.

Thanks for response. Not using to watch TV, just to play music and watch videos. There are two HDMI connects at rear of TV, not sure which one to connect to my receiver?

Either of them, as veon's dont have one of them dedicated for audio return because they leave that usefull basic feature off the tv.

You will need to connect the coax audio out of the tv back to the recievers input if you want to get sound from the tuner or the inbuilt media player to go back to the reciever.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Does your receiver have an HDMI output?
If so - connect an HDMI cable and away you go.
