Hi there I was just wondering if this type of cord would work if I where to buy a pair of pc speakers with 3.5mm input because the only audio out put on my tv is a Digital Coaxial(rca type)

If I understand your post correctly, then no. That cable does not convert digital to analog.

To expand, nearly all PC speakers require an analog input, just like headphones. The only PC speakers you could use, would be something like this that do have a coax digital input: http://www.dicksmith.co.nz/logitech-5-1ch-surround-speakers-z906-dsnz-ae2938

frowndamn what will be the cheapest way to get better sound I don't want super over the top sound just better than the built in tv speakers atm as they make rattling sounds when dialog and loud bangs come on and I've put down the bass etc and still does it and sounds terrible lol

Does the TV not have a 3.5mm headphone jack?

If there's a 15 pin VGA socket on your TV, it could be a jack to connect to your PC sound out to get the PC audio to the TV.

That being the case (and I've found nothing conclusive in Google searches yet) you'll need either a sound bar, something like the Z906 speakers above or a receiver/amp then.

Yes a converter will do the job quite well. Coupled with standard PC speakers should be a cheap-ish option.

During the Google search to find an answer to your dilemma (trying to check specifications) I see this isn't the only forum you've tried to get a result from. Sorry the answer wasn't quite what you were after, but at least there is a way to make it happen!
