HELP

I have a video in Real Player video format and I want to burn it onto a DVD so that I can play it in a home DVD player.

I know that DVD players don't let you play a Real Player video from a DVD or CD but I do know that most let you play an AVI format video.

What can I do so that I can play this video on a DVD player from a DVD? It is about 400 MB so converting it is going to take a while. Is there any DVD burning software (e.g. NERO (I have the IBM Record Now software and Intervideo's WINDVD DVD burner)).

Thanks for anyhelp you can provide.

Hi,

Assuming that your Real Video file is in the *.rm or *.rmvb format, then using either DVDSanta or WinAVI will accept those files and convert/burn to to DVD that can then be used on many (home) DVD players.

Check if your home DVD player uses DVD+R or -R disks (or both) before burning.

Hope this helps,

R.

I know that the DVD player accepts DVD+R discs which is what I'm using.

I do want to convert .rmvb video so I will look into WinAVI and DVD Santa.

Thank you very much
