Hi everyone,

I was really hoping i could draw on your expertise to help with what i think is an easy question....

I am doing a new build and am at the stage where i have to put the wiring in. I am no audiophile but would like to put in some ceiling speakers for background sounds into four areas,

Kitchen,Lounge,Dining,Outside

Budget is important - so I guess what i am looking for here is help from the experts to make sure what I'm doing is right....as opposed to a high quality sound project. Hopefully that makes sense :)

Basically what I am looking at doing is buying an amp, wiring four sets of speakers in parallel (each set of speakers through an inwall impedance matching volume control).

The amp i am looking at getting is either :

200WRMS Per Channel Stereo Amplifier | Component Amplifiers | Home Amplifiers & Accessories | Sight & Sound - Home | PRODUCTS | AA0484 | Jaycar Electronics

or

2 x 100 WRMS Stereo Amplifier with Remote Control | Component Amplifiers | Home Amplifiers & Accessories | Sight & Sound - Home | PRODUCTS | AA0470 | Jaycar Electronics

I am looking at buying four sets of these speakers :

In-Ceiling 2 Way 6.5 Speaker in Can Housing | Component Speakers | Hi Fi Speakers & Accessories | Sight & Sound - Home | PRODUCTS | CS2462 | Jaycar Electronics

And the unwell volume controls are :

70 Watt Speaker Attenuator | Speaker Hardware & Accessories | Hi Fi Speakers & Accessories | Sight & Sound - Home | PRODUCTS | AC1685 | Jaycar Electronics

My questions are :

1. Am I matching these up correctly

2. Which amp would be best

3. Am I correct in wiring them up in parallel

4. Is the 70W attenuator correct for this system?

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated, much thanks for your wisdom!
